Using the “Speed dating stations” approach, during this workshop we will learn about and explore different approaches, forms, and aspects of play (Stations #1-#4).
11:40 am – Digging Deeper: From Play to Practice
During this workshop we will look at standards, milestones, learning targets, and the connection with play in education.

Immerse in well-structured outdoor centers with specific focus and purpose. Learn and explore why kids need to be in nature; why there should be specific areas planned with intentionality.

Full day immersive play-based workshop.
9:00 am – Dress for a Mess!
The fundamentals of outdoor play. This interactive workshop will set the stage for outdoor play. Participants will explore aspects such as: Why do we need mud play, nature play, purposeful and intentional play in specific areas and domains.
10:45 am – Freshen up!

11:00 am – 2:00 pm – Child Led Play
Create a sense of wonderment , discovery; explore, imagine, and break the boundaries.
